    Job introduction:To assist in the day to day running of the hostel at weekends, ensuring the service is delivered in as efficient and effective way as possible. To provide advice and support to single homeless people and prepare meals according to your shift pattern.

Salary:
£ £12.70 per hour, (plus enhancements of time and half for hours worked weekends, time and third for hours worked between 8pm and 6am)

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the support offered to vulnerable homeless people in the City.


You will take responsibility for the safety and security of the hostels and their residents, ensuring that safety procedures and statutory obligations are adhered to.

You will be involved in supporting single homeless people and liaising with keyworkers. An awareness of the issues surrounding single homelessness and substance misuse would be an advantage.


Additional information:

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
