Currently recruiting a Legal Secretary (Conveyancing) for a permanent role, based in South Lanarkshire for a great legal firm.Client Details
Legal firm based in South Lanarkshire
Description
- Typing from digital dictation (via BigHand), handwritten drafts or typed documents.
- Draft standard documents
- Prepare Land Registration forms
- Prepare LBTT Returns
- Order First Scottish Reports/Searches
- Prepare fee notes
- Prepare cash statements
- General administrative duties such as: photocopying/scanning and taking messages.
Profile
- Good organisation and communication
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise effectively and work independently to produce an efficient turnaround of work
- Experience of all types of residential conveyancing, uptodate current knowledge of conveyancing procedures and documentation coupled with fast accurate audio typing skills are essential.
- Competent with computer systems and ability to learn new systems
- Good telephone manner
- Ability to work with others and independently
- Prior experience in working in a legal office/office management
