The Technical Sales Representative - Lead management is primarily responsible for managing the EMEA sales lead management process that includes the development of new customers pipeline, reviewing new leads and customer engagement, lead distribution, new prospect customers creation, new business opportunity identification for those prospects to support the achievement of the pipeline, revenue goals and objectives.

Additionally, the role includes coordination and collaboration on the lead management process with all relevant category and business development teams.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Enable our new customers to grow
  • Fully manage and coordinate the new customer acquisition/sale lead management process including lead screening, qualifying and distribution, prospect creation, new opportunity identification and conversion to sales. Utilising technical valueadding and commercial endtoend process and supported by solid technical knowhow to help new customers generate value and grow with your solutions. Manage selected customers directly and fully end to end.
  • Be a solution provider
- utilize and deploy customers need the first approach with a solution and uncover key customer pain points and needs and together help in generating a value-adding solution.

  • Drive Specialty ingredients growth
  • Build, manage and drive new business development with Specialty ingredients (plantbased proteins, sugar reductions, food systems) through an opportunity pipeline for assigned and new customers.


  • Build Relationships

  • Build strong relationships with the customers across multiple stakeholders and levels of seniority. Develop strong internal collaborative relationships in facilitating the lead management process with other departments.
  • Act as a pioneer in using digital tools and new ways of working
  • Effectively use all digital tools to create and collaborate with customers digitally. Strong contribution to developing the future of sales enabled by the digital tools for Ingredion. Utilize digital solutions to plan and conduct meetings, presentations, and training with relevant stakeholders at customers.
  • Drive technical and commercial excellence
  • Manage all pricing and successfully lead contract & pricing negotiations. Ensure valueadded pricing approach. Monitor customers' changing demand and collaborate with Demand Planning to keep forecasts up to date.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Technical sales experience in businesstobusiness sales preferably in specialty food ingredients.
  • Degree or equivalent preferably in food science and technology or related discipline.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are welcome
  • Analytical, problem solving and skilled with data management
  • Minimum travel required for internal meetings maybe required up to 10% of job role.
