Applications are invited for a permanent Teaching Associate position at 0.8 FTE in the Department of Psychology, School of Life Sciences and the Environment.

The post is available from
1 April 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.


The post holders will work as part of our academic team in a dynamic and supportive environment that is known internationally for its outstanding research and teaching.

There is a strong culture of support for Teaching Focused academics within the Department, with regular training provided and opportunities to engage in departmental activities.

The role involves supporting teaching on the department's undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes.

Teaching duties will primarily involve working within a small team to deliver our Research Methods and Statistics courses under the direction of our lecturing staff, as well as assessing students' submitted work.

Other activities could include delivering seminars and workshops, supporting the administration of teaching in the department, and taking part in initiatives designed to enhance the experience of our students.
