Data Governance Specialist - Bristol and flex work, to £75k

I'm here with a very interesting new role for a great client of mine, to find someone to help them manage the risk and GDPR lifecycle of their very complex data estate, across multiple repositories and technologies.

They're a mature organisation who have been operating in the UK legal market for many years, with a really large and varied user base.

They're maturing their data governance policy across this data, and while they have a smart compliance and DPO they needto bring some skills on board in order to help them understand what is and isn't' possible within the constraints of their data structure.

The role would suit someone with DEEP database experience, and a 'keen to get stuck in' kind of personality, with skills including:

Strong knowledge and use of GDPR and Governance Frameworks, Retention and Quality issues
T-SQL, (or another transferable Query Language)
Some knowledge across Cloud (Azure in particular),
Data Flow Mapping, Data Cataloguing
Some solid project management skills, along with some interests / awareness in data privacy and GDPR principles.
