Hampshire

50k to 85k (Negotiable depending on experience) + Bonus

This role can be hybrid or completely remote working.

I am working with a reptable constrcution company that is recruting for a estimator.

We are looking for a experienced estimator or relevent role that is confident in pricing demolition or earthworks worth in excess of £1 million in value and has experiencewith demolition or earthworks.

The role

  • Have an understanding of the JCT Standard Forms of Contract and similar
  • Have a construction industry degree or professional qualification (MRICS or MCIOB)
  • Understanding the legal requirements (including health, safety and the environmental matters) for each tender
  • Understanding the contractual requirements (e.g. drawn information, scope of works and specifications) for those tenders
  • Understanding the industry standards that are required to be met.
  • Engaging with specialist subcontractors, suppliers, designers and utility companies (or similar) to ensure we submit a competitive an accurate tender.
  • Establish what resources are required for the efficient completion of the projects.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants and colleagues
