Our client, The NEC Group, has five renowned entertainment venues, the NEC, The Vox, Resorts World Arena,?Utilita?Arena Birmingham & The ICC.

Many of the venues have been re-launched and rebranded recently to notable acclaim.

This role will be based at the UAB (Utilita Arena Birmingham - B1 2AA)
As a Casual Cleaning Operative, you will complete daily/nightly tasks relating to the delivery of cleaning services at the Resorts World Arena, ensuring client satisfaction and customer excellence are achieved, and services are delivered to agreed standards

Main Duties

  • Ensuring cleaning activities are carried out to the highest standards. The cleaning activities will include mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and cleaning toilet facilities, litter picking tribunes, and public circulation areas.
  • Sweep/Vacuum all floor areas as required according to the composition of the floor, Damp wipe doors, shelves, seating, kiosks, handrails, phones & fire hydrants and collect waste, empty boxes when requested.
  • Responsible for keeping all areas relating to the event clean and litter free at all times.
  • Responsible for keeping all public toilets and circulation areas clean, tidy & free from litter at all times including lifts, stairs. Ensuring all spillages are dealt with immediately.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential as training will be given
