Purpose of the Role:


In this role, you will work as a Project Coordinator as part of the PMO team striving to deliver project success across McLaren Racing.


Principal Accountabilities:


  • Assisting Project Managers with daytoday tasks across all projects
  • Assisting Project Teams with preparation of monthly reporting ensuring timely submission and adhering to a strict reporting cycle
  • Coordinating meetings: booking rooms, sending invitations, preparing reports, taking minutes, updating follow up action plans
  • Document control: Maintain and develop document libraries
  • Assist the PMO team with research and prepare reports for project feasibility studies

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


To join our race for performance, you'll need:

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience of working in a project management environment
  • Highly organised, diligent with attention to detail and the ability to maintain these skills whilst working under pressure.
  • APM PFQ or Equivalent desirable
  • Advanced Skills in MS Office suite, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel
  • Essential
  • Understanding of document management systems, processes and best practices
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of the business
  • Confident communicator with the ability to translate complex information succinctly to suit the audience
  • Ability to multitask over several ongoing projects, ability to priorities whilst managing time sensitive tasks
  • Highly organised, diligent with attention to detail and the ability to maintain these skills whilst working under pressure.
  • Keen problem solver, who enjoys tackling complex challenges and finding solutions
  • Good influencing skills
