Overview:


We are looking for Partnership Support Officer to support the development and effective functioning of identified sub groups for the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Children Partnership and the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Adult Board.

About the role:


This role will include ensuring compliance with current statutory guidance and requirements, the collation and analysis of data and information (both quantitative and qualitative), and producing annual reports and work plans in conjunction with the subgroup chair.

At present this role is focused on planning, implementing and leading the delivery of statutory reviews. However this may vary with the business need of the Partnership


Main Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Plan, organise and produce the annual work programme and annual report of identified sub groups.
  • Produce and support the implementation of multiagency activity (such as audits, events, statutory reviews and lessons learnt reports) that provide evidence of the partnership impact on achieving good outcomes for children and vulnerable adults.
  • Ensure there is an annual work programme in place for the identified sub groups and that this updated on at least at least a quarterly basis, and is kept up to date with current actions and activity.
  • Produce and keep up to date records and information, including those set out in statutory guidance, that ensure the sub group is able to progress its work plan and comply with statutory guidance.
  • All required records and information are to be maintained correctly.

About you:


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


  • Substantial relevant experience of working in adult and/or children's safeguarding, with evidence of work responsibilities appropriate to the role and specialist expertise
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and interrelationships with other services and external agencies. Good knowledge of wider sector / external influences.
  • Expert knowledge of relevant systems, regulations, legislation, best practice, policies and procedures, including health and safety
  • Experience of developing procedures. Experience of contributing to the development of safeguarding policies and practices.
