Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly team player to join our small team to work in the marina cafe at Barton Marina, situated on the Trent and Mersey Canal near Barton
- under
  • Needwood.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To meet and greet customers.
  • To take orders, upselling where possible.
  • To serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • To prepare drinks.
  • To provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers to relax and enjoy their visit.
  • To operate the till system, including inputting orders and processing payments.
  • To maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • To complete cleaning tasks throughout the day.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a cafe.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of coffee making desirable

  • Personable and friendly approach.
  • Must be able to work in a past paced environment.
  • Must work well in a team.
  • Weekend work will be required.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Must have a flexible approach to working hours and days.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
Up to £9.50 per hour
