PMO Project Manager


Working for a governing body in the North of England supporting DfT with the role out of the 10-year North of England programme.


Location:

  • Manchester

Salary:
- £44,000 - £48,000 basic

**Role and Responsibilities:
- **This position would suit a PMO / Project Co-ordinator that works within the Rail industry, ideally already interfacing with various stakeholders within client organisations.

This role is co-ordinating multiple live projects on behalf of the client. Working as the PMO on the scheme managing the development, delivery and designated activities through their set milestones. Overseeing an agreed scope of work and managing the functionalrequirements to deliver project outcomes on time and within budget.


You will be managing and delivering small to medium scale projects / programmes of work, ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines.

Developing the plans for the management / control of the projects /programmes of work to then monitor performance against the plan to ensure agreed milestones are met.


Stakeholder Management is key, Collaborating with stakeholders and third-party contractors, in order to ensure all parties are informed and appraised of project progress, and objectives remain aligned.

Ensure compliance with all agreed procedures acrossprocurement, standing orders, financial regulations, relevant legislation and other statutory requirements.


This is a hybrid role looking at you being office based 2-3 days per week then 2-3 days working from home.

Coordinating your diary as required by the project and various stakeholders involved in your scheme.


Qualifications:
-

  • Experience of working in the Rail sector, be it consultancy or client side
You must be living and eligible to work in the UK to be suitable for this position.
