Role
Our highly renowned client are looking for an Apprenticeship Coach to join their growing team.
Duties and responsibilities
- Developing knowledge, skill, behaviours and confidence of each learner
- Through coaching, training and assessment, supporting learners' ability to work confidently, effectively and independently in life and work as part of the apprenticeship
- Supporting the implementation and development of functional skills with learners
- Working collaboratively with all parties using verbal and well written reports to ensure accurate and timely progress reviews are completed.
- Regular quality checks and maintaining on Onefile the 'off the job' training records and ensure learners achieve a minimum 20% of apprentices paid hours.
- Regularly assess learner progress to awarding organisation, End Point Assessment and putting plans in place where required to meet learning objectives.
- Taking an active part in team meetings
- Achieving set KPI's
- Ensuring that the company policy on Equal Opportunities is always implemented and Safeguarding is implemented and strictly adhered to at all times.
Skills and experience
- Has experience of working with diverse groups of people
- Can work to deadlines/targets and under pressure
- Can work flexibly and have a creative approach to meeting targets
- Has excellent communication skills both written and verbal and IT skills
- Has strong interpersonal and relationship skills
- Can encourage high levels of involvement and achievement
- Can build successful relationships with other staff, learners and third parties
- Able to encourage learners to have high aspirations and pride in their work
- Is organised & professional in approach
- Is educated to degree level
- Experience in coaching a mixed level of Apprentices, ideally Level's 5
- Level 5 coaching qualification or CIRO will provide this training
- Coaching or teaching sector experience
- An understanding of Apprenticeship frameworks
