Accounts Payable Clerk - Thame - Hybrid Working - 12 Month Contract - Up to £28,000


FryerMiles are delighted to be supporting this fast paced, industry leading business which has recently completed a number of finance transformation projects.

Due to continued growth, FryerMiles are on the search for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerkto join the business on a 12 month contract, which has a good chance of going permanent.

The duties of the Accounts Payable Clerk role include:

  • Processing invoices and credit notes
  • Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments
  • Bank reconciliation postings
  • Preparing and performing payment runs
  • Posting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconciling Accounts Payable transactions
  • Maintenance of the Accounts Payable inbox
  • Preparing analysis of accounts
  • Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and queries
  • Maintaining supplier data
  • Producing monthly Accounts Payable reports
  • Month end accruals
  • Assisting with month end closing

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will:

  • Have at least 2 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Have experience of double entry bookkeeping
