Description

This is a crucial role within the International Licensing Team to support the Account Managers and contribute to retaining the contracted licensing revenue and helping identify new business opportunities, by developing relationships with our partners and supplying vital information and content.

This is a part time role (32 hours) based in our Bath office.

What you'll be doing...

Working alongside the rest of the Client Services team to ensure fulfilment of deals under specified Verticals; drive new licensing and syndication business; identify available and captivating content for pitching from the Future portfolio.
Daily point of contact for Future's international licensing partners, respond to any queries including but not limited to editorial rights and content.
Supply of content to our licensing partners via our Felix & Content Centre systems, and downloading files to prepare orders for syndication/ ad hoc licensing arrangements.
Assisting commercial team to source content, check IPR and deliver assets.
Maintain awareness and understanding of brands & content, liaising with relevant editorial departments and communicating any updates to the team.
Marketing support for the team, including helping to prepare newsletters (sourcing images and writing text).
Territory and market research when required.
General admin tasks, including but not limited to: raising invoices and POs, managing the departmental post, mailshots, ordering departmental materials, updating spreadsheets, processing contracts.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

Strong understanding of Excel and Google documents & InDesign; ability to quickly pick up new systems.
Understanding of intellectual property rights
Proven attention to detail & ability to organise information and data in a clear and coherent manner
A passion for content and a creative sensibility. Marketing experience would be a bonus, but not essential
Ability to communicate clearly with licensing partners around the world (foreign languages a bonus)
Awareness of publishing, newsstand trends and content monetization models in different global markets, industry knowledge and contacts
