Primary School Learning Partner
A Primary School in Gloucester is looking to appoint a learning partner for their team.

The school needs someone to work for them on a full time basis Monday to Friday, with the hours being The role will run at least until the end of the academic year but is then likely to go into the next school year too.

This role is needed to start as soon as possible. The position will be based in KS2 supporting one of the classes.


The school is looking for some positive and nurturing, and someone who has a real passion for helping children to achieve their best in school.

You should have good curriculum knowledge, in particular have good numeracy and literacy skills. You need to be a good team player, who is friendly and approachable.

For this opportunity you must have experience of working with children and experience with supporting children who need additional support is also highly desirable.


What will you need to do on a daily basis?

  • Supporting children in achieving the lesson objective in English, Maths and across all areas of the curriculum
  • Leading 1:1 and group intervention programmes
  • Feeding back to the class teacher, maintaining records of progress and behaviour
  • Working with children to support any social, emotional, behavioural, personal care
  • Liaising with parents and external professionals
