Our client is looking for a Purchasing Stores Coordinator for a permanent position, located in ForfarRole
Responsibility for all of RMEC supply chain / purchasing and for our internal stores
.
Responsibilities
- Managing Goods-In area
- Maintaining RMEC stock records e.g. ordering, receiving and issuing parts required for client jobs or RMEC stock
- Negotiating with third party vendors to ensure best price and quality
- Responsibility for organising transport
- Receipting and checking goods received for correctness and/or damage and recording on RMEC computer system
- Booking in equipment and correctly labelling it with job identifier
- Ensuring Stores area is kept in tidy and safe condition
- Setting up new suppliers following company procedures
- Cataloguing of all key parts and maintaining control of all parts
- Assisting Finance during annual audits internal and external
- Identifying opportunities and implement actions continually to reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasks
- Providing Management with various departmental reports
The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.
