About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Heysham.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing support and care to children in a residential setting.

It's essential that applicants hold a valid manual driver's license.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing care and support to children in a residential environment.
  • Creating a safe and nurturing atmosphere for children.
  • Assisting with daily activities and routines.
  • Building positive relationships with children and providing emotional support.
  • Ensuring the physical and emotional wellbeing of children.
  • Liaising with other professionals involved in the care of the children.

Requirements:


  • Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with children.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full manual driver's license is essential for this role.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant background checks.
