The client is a well known NHS Trust based in central London.


Description
The key responsibilities for this role are as followed:

  • Assist in the production of monthly budgetary and control reports.
  • Responsibility for the preparation and uploading of monthly journals, both permanent and reversing. Ensuring that such journals have adequate supporting information.
  • Responsibility for investigating expenditure variances to budget reported on the ledger and instigating corrective action.
  • Aid in the evaluation of cost pressures and assist in deciding corrective action with appropriate Senior Finance Staff/ Budget holders
  • Set up and design reports for monthly budget reports
  • Set up new statements for budget holders, ensuring all appropriate areas in the general ledger are updated.
