Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Marketing & Data Insights Analyst to work for a lovely company based in the East Grinstead, West Sussex area.

The Marketing Data & Insights Analyst will gather, organise and analyse the marketing and data fromall relevant internal and external data sources to enable the marketing department to make data driven decisions resulting in improved marketing performance and ROI.

£42K + excellent company benefits


Location:
Hybrid working - 1-2 days in the office


Marketing Data Analyst duties:


  • Assisting with creating a view of our digital marketing performance
  • Analyse and interpret website user behaviour, identifying trends and areas of concern which can then be improved to deliver a best customer experience across all digital touchpoints (i.e. website, PPC, SEO, social etc).
  • Analysing and reporting the results (successes/failures/surprises) of improvements to the website's page launches as well as campaigns and ultimately, the ROI
  • Providing qualitative and quantitative analysis, insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to help support and influence future marketing campaign planning and new product development business cases.
  • Using expertise and the company suite of analytical tools to deliver website performance forecast updates to key stakeholders, which will then feed into the wider marketing and customer forecasting and budget planning process.
  • Creation and maintenance of market and competitor research then present findings to leaders in the business to help shape the overall marketing strategy.
  • Analyse and interpret multiple data sources to better understand the customer journey

Skills and experience required:


  • Proven experience working in a similar Marketing Analysis, Data Analyst, Data Analysis type role
  • Must be strategic, analytical, and have strong communication skills, as well as being able to relay technical information/data/results
  • Extensive experience working with Google Analytics
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills essential
  • Ability to combine and interpret high volumes of data from multiple source
