Experis are currently on the lookout for a SAS Analyst to join one of our large consultancy clients.

The key requirements are
-
SAS /credit risk exposure/ Hadoop and SQL

Role Responsibilities

Providing insight and recommendations to Senior Credit Risk Manager in order to support in the creation of risk strategies to contain the cost of risk and achieve P&L/impairment targets
Assisting in the indepth monitoring of performance of certain unsecured credit policies, highlighting trends / insights, and driving corrective actions
Ensuring strategy and model documentation and governance remains upto date, and working with the internal validation unit to ensure models are wellgoverned
Sourcing data from various data warehouses and external partners
Responding to requests for information from senior management, and producing timely, clear, and accurate data/insight to meet those requests

Practical experience of using analytics to solve complex business problems
Passionate about data analysis and how this contributes to the business
Advanced understanding of standard statistical package (SAS/SQL essential) and Excel
Strong awareness of SAS, Macros and Hadoop and Hive knowledge
Excellent datahandling, problemsolving and analytical or quantitative skills
