Marine Claims Adjuster

Negotiable Salary

We are currently looking for a Marine Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a commercial insurance provider operating in the Lloyd's and Company markets, with offices throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Setting activities and reserves and authorising payments within scope of authority, settling claims in most cost effective and timely manner.
Participating in investigations and evaluating claims through contact with insureds,

claimants, witnesses and experts.

Identifying and escalating serious claims developments to management efficiently and effectively.
Partnering with legal counsel, account representatives, brokers, underwriters and insureds to

develop a focused strategy for claims resolution.

Developing and maintaining strong broker relationships.
Participating in planning strategy and negotiating within scope of authority.
Analysing claims activity and preparing reports for management review.

Key Requirements

Proven Marine Claims handling experience.
Fluent Danish and English speaker. German language skills are preferred but not essential.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
