An already highly successful, young fast-growth business in the exciting world of Financial Technology (FinTech) is looking to hire a talented, commercially focused Senior Data Analyst to join the growing team in a newly created role to support the growthof the business.

The Senior Data Analyst role will report to the Business Manager to the CEO.

This role will be focused on drawing, connecting and analysing business data across multiple data sources; you will build relationships with key stakeholders across the businessto understand their requirements and you will use analytics to enhance the decision-making process across the organisation.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop an understanding of strategic goals to define and produce key business metrics and performance indicators.
  • Clean, manipulate and analyse large datasets, drawing valid inferences and present them successfully to the CEO.
  • Produce an accurate and relevant suite of reports and dashboards to serve the Executive team that lead to insightful decision making.
  • Design and propose new approaches to data collection, analysis and outputs to deliver efficiency and improved performance.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5+ years of Data & Analytics within the Financial Services industry.
  • Demonstrate natural curiosity to find trends or patterns in data.
  • Tenacious and able to work independently in finding and solving complex problems.
  • Experienced at turning large quantities of business data into insights.
  • Highly experienced Excel user, with solid experience in VBA.
  • You must have strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Use of data presentation tools such as Power BI a bonus.
  • Experience of working in a high pace, rapidlychanging environment.
