Overall purpose of the role:


The factory operative is responsible for ensuring clubs are processed in the quantities and quality necessary to meet production schedules and standards.

The Factory Operative is expected to become knowledgeable in all steps of assembly, shipping and warehouse duties. Assignments may include assembling putters, irons, woods and warehouse and shipping.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Complete all assembly duties, shipping and warehouse functions in accordance with company procedures, work instructions and quality requirements.
  • Inspect quality throughout the assembly and warehouse processes.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety rules and procedures.
  • Any other duties as required
Education and Experience

  • To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Skills and personal qualities

  • Ability to follow instructions and be precise in finished work and have an eye for quality.
  • Has the ability to work either individually or as a group to achieve departmental goals.
  • A good attendance record is essential to ensure continuity in manufacturing processes.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn.
Physical demands


The factory operative must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, this includes the ability to stand for the course of the shift and to be able to carry, push or pull packages.
