Petroleum Inspector

- To deliver cargo supervision services, in line with client S.O.P's
- To deliver documentation and customs requirements in line with client S.O.P's
- Meet contractual KPI's for both provision of B.O.L and loading / discharge of chemical vessels.
- To carry out quantity supervision to establish accurate quantities of loading & discharge of vessels as per clients requirements and/or SGS/International standards.
- To provide accurate determination of Bills of Lading in accordance with Documentation and Masurement contract.
- To at all times work in accordance with client procedures laid out as part of DAMS & Chemicals contracts for provision of Bills of Lading and chemical vessel services.
- To obtain representative samples and carry out quality supervision of loading & discharge of vessels.
- To provide complete and accurate written or computerised reports, as directed by the Operations Supervisor, on above activities.
- To complete chemical inspection reports to an accurate standard and report to clients in line with their instruction and distribution requirements.
Qualifications:
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to carry out physically demanding work, some of which is outdoors on a 24/7 rota.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision whilst still delivering services to the timescales and standards expected.
- Ability to work to tight and often conflicting deadlines to meet client requirements.
- Competent in using the Word and Excel software.
- A good level of numeracy and literacy.
- Full Drivers License.
- Minimum of 1 years experience of working in an industrial environment.
- Experience of dealing directly with clients, presenting them with data/reports and answering queries.
