R&D Analytical Associate

Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

The purpose of this role is to lead the projects from an analytical point of view on our UK, Latam & US brands such as Lemsip, Delsym, Naldecon, Reflex Gel & Tempra ensuring delivery of output effectively and efficiently in compliance with current Good Laboratory practice, internal procedures, and relevant guideline.

You will support all the analytical aspects of the project from feasibility to launch, to drive the incremental net revenues of the local heroes' brands for the business.

Perform routine day to day tasks under mínimal supervision and understands the accountability for the quality of the work delivered.


You will succeed because


You are degree qualified in a relevant scientific discipline, with experience of supporting technical projects, to ensure all required quality, regulatory and safety standards are applied within an FMCG/healthcare environment.

You work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and 3rd parties to ensure delivery against project timelines.


You ensure compliance and audit readiness when carrying out day-to-day analytical testing or project work, and support cross-functional teams with enquiries.

You actively engage in Continuing Professional Development and training initiatives, and strive to train, develop, and support the progress of direct reports and the wider team.


The role will have direct reports; therefore, people management experience would be advantageous to enable you to provide ongoing mentoring and coaching.

The role will also involve managing multiple projects in parallel.

Working collaboratively as part of a larger team, you will be able to communicate and influence effectively up to senior stakeholder level, with colleagues from different functions within the business.

Independently minded, you've a healthy curiosity and will actively seek out additional information when you need it.
