Mad 4 Recruitment is looking to appoint an Full Time Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 2 at a school in the Didsbury area.

The role will predominantly be on a 1:1 basis but you will also be working with small groups of children.

This role is for 5 days per week, starting ASAP, with the potential to be continued until the end of the academic year.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is essential, and previous experience working with pupils with additional needs is desirable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children

Salary:
£70.00-£85.00 per day
