The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical, and social wellbeing throughout their lives.


Equipped with purpose-built rehabilitation facilities, our centres offer a high standard of service and specialist knowledge, you will be part of a multi professional team of practitioners working collaboratively to meet an individual's needs, helping them to reach their goals through a holistic approach.

As well as the face-to-face support you will be providing in the centre environment you will also work as part of the multi-professional team in providing ongoing support to our beneficiaries using digital technology.


As part of this multi professional team you will be providing personal care, whilst supporting them to take part in a bespoke rehabilitation programme which address physical, social, and emotional needs.

You may also support the delivery of the health education programme, and ensure beneficiaries are well informed to make independent decisions about their own health and wellbeing.

You will be based at Jubilee House, our residential centre in Cumbria, where we have 6 nursing beds, rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

Situated in the foothills of the Lake District offering spectacular views, Jubilee House has ten acres of grounds on the banks of the River Eamont.


To be successful, you will have a 'can do' attitude, dynamic problem-solving approach and be flexible, as well as a relevant Health and Social Care qualification e.g.

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate transferable skills.
