The Role
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to originate new sales and revenue opportunities, directly through your own efforts but also by building and leading a team of sales executives.
- Sales Origination: You will proactively seek out and arrange sales meetings with new prospective clients.
- Sales Team Management: You will build and manage a highperformance sales team. This will involve everything from hiring, training, managing, and mentoring, in order to scale up the sales origination function.
- Business Strategy: As one of the business development leaders in the business you will contribute to developing growth strategies and improvements to our sales processes globally.
- Data and Information: You and your team will ensure our CRM systems are kept up to date with all relevant sales information. In addition, you will be responsible for providing senior management with periodic reports on pipeline status, client and servicesegmentation, revenue statistics, etc.
- Innovation: We are always looking for better ways of doing things. We are expecting you to be proactive in identifying potential issues or areas of improvement and suggesting solutions to these.
Qualifications and Experiences:
As a minimum requirement you need to:
- have at least 5 years' relevant experience with excellent references
- have obtained higher education (bachelor degree)
- be used to working in a fast-paced environment
In addition, it will be advantageous if you have:
- experience from the financial industry, e.g. working for private equity, asset management, financial services or consulting firms
- experience working in an entrepreneurial environment
