CML are looking for an experienced Bricklayer to join our multidisciplinary team in Wigan.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • You will be working on the North West & Central Framework for Network Rail as a Skilled Operative, carrying out railway maintenance work, including but not limited to station platforms, bridges and buildings.


As well as your day to day duties, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles materials, tools and plant equipment under your control are fit for use and are used, stored and disposed of correctly and any defects are reported immediately to H&S and / or your Manager.


Teamwork is key in delivering our works effectively, so when you aren't required to use your daily skills and trades on the job, you can expect to be collaborating with your colleagues on site to ensure the project deadlines are met.


  • A Bricklaying qualification at NVQ level 3 or above
  • Essential


  • A CSCS card

  • A clean driving licence

  • The ability to work away from home, both on week nights and weekends


  • Personal Track Safety

  • Highly desirable
  • Experience of working in a Rail/ Civil Engineering environment
  • Highly desirable
