JOB TITLE:
Maintenance Operative (Handyperson)


LOCATION:
Freshney Place, Grimsby


SHIFT PATTERN:10:00 - 18:00 Mon-Fri (alternate Saturdays to be worked)


SALARY:
£21,985.60


ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE


Handyperson based on site within a team of operatives undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, statutory testing and assisting staff memebers within a retail property environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building fabric maintenance and repairs inc. patch plastering, tiling, sealing etc.
  • Door maintenance and repairs basic carpentry.
  • Painting and decorating.
  • Sanitaryware maintenance and repairs basic plumbing.
  • Good housekeeping workshop, switch and plant rooms.
  • Assist department staff in other work activities.
  • Lone working as required.
  • Log completed PPM's, reactive works.
  • Record statutory inspection and test results. (emergency lighting / water temperatures)
  • Any other reasonable task requested by the site management team (within skill set)
