Applications are invited for the post of Business Continuity and Emergency Planning Officer in the Health and Safety Office, part of the Legal and Compliance Directorate.

The role can be either full-time or part-time and is for maternity cover starting as soon as possible until to 11 August 2023.


This post is within the Health and Safety Office and requires competence in working with stakeholders to increase tactical and operational resilience in an organisation.

In addition, competence in fire safety is required so the post can support the Health and Safety Officer (Fire and Accessibility).


We require a calm and professional individual able to work stakeholders across the organisation to create and implement plans and procedures.

The role reports to the Director of Health, Safety and Business Continuity who is the strategic lead for the college in this area.

The ability to communicate accurately and diplomatically is essential as are excellent organisational skills. A recognised qualification in BCEP and fire safety are desirable, as is knowledge of experience in cyber security.


The Health and Safety Office is customer focused, assisting and empowering colleagues to allow them to make appropriate decisions, in this case in terms of business continuity and emergency planning.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.

This is a fixed term post to cover a period of maternity leave until 11 August 2023. This appointment could end earlier than expected should the substantive post-holder return to work early
