Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established Land and Property Consultancy in Bedford with the appointment of an MRTPI Town Planner.

This is a permanent position.


The company has a long-established history in the region and has developed into a modern multi-disciplinary practice offering a comprehensive range of services, including Residential and Commercial Sales, Lettings, Auctions, Rural Property & Business, Planning,Development, Renewable Energy and Architecture & Building Surveying.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Submission of representations relating to Local Plans.
  • Preparation of Design and Access Statements/Planning Statements.
  • Liaising with clients and specialist consultants in respect of flood risk, ecology, highways, contamination and other reports.
  • Assisting busy Planning department with extensive varied workload.

Requirements:


  • Commensurate experience at Town Planner level.
  • MRTPI qualified.
  • Ability to work both on your own initiative and part of a team.
  • Ability to network with potential clients.
  • Driving licence and own car is essential.
