We're currently hiring for a full-time
Delivery Loader at our
Stockport depot.

The role will include working to ensure all delivered vehicles are loaded safely, in a timely manner and according to all company procedures.

You will be working as part of a key supportive team within the depot, where you will take ownership and work alongside a team of drivers and employees in the loading of all vehicles to go out delivering that day with good attention to detail and can work well in a busy environment.


What will you be doing as a Delivery Loader?

  • The loading of all delivery vehicles each day
  • Working alongside drivers and other employees to help load the vehicles
  • Ensuring all cages and pallets are loaded safely and securely onto vehicles
  • Taking responsibility for the zone that you are supervising; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
  • Supporting other departments as required

What do you need to be a Delivery Loader?

  • Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
  • Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team to guide them
  • Good time management as you will be working at speed and to deadlines
  • Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet targets
  • Able to work in a highvolume, sometimes physically challenging role
  • Experience and a licence driving a forklift truck
  • Counterbalance

What's on offer?

  • Rate of pay: £10.18 to £10.42 per hour [+ FLT Uplift] + opportunities for overtime

38 hours per week:


  • Sunday: 08:00am 16:00pm
  • Monday to Thursday: 11:30am 19:30pm
  • Friday and Saturday: Off
  • Weekly pay
  • Supportive management and ongoing development

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

£10.18-£10.42 per hour
