Are you a qualified Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse? Or a newly qualified Practitioner looking for a developmental role to work creatively with Young People and their families?


Hybrid working, flexible hours and a warm welcome accompany this opportunity to work in our Central CAHMS team based at Mary Chapman House, Norwich.

We are a dedicated multi-disciplinary Team promoting positive Mental Health in Young People aged 4-14 years old.


We strive to be dynamic and creative and are dedicated Mental Health Professionals, focussing on the needs of Young People and providing a needs-led approach to working and seek like-minded clinicians to work alongside us in supporting Young Peoples Wellbeing and Mental Health.

We are flexible; full and part time applicants will be considered

A Band 5 developmental role will be considered for those who are newly qualified.


Duties will include, but not exclusive to:

  • Assessments of Young People
  • Caseload holding
  • Multiagency working; including family, acute hospital, primary care sector, social care, education and voluntary services
  • Triage of referrals
  • Working with Young People on a one to one basis
  • Supporting the Duty role within the Team

This post attracts a recruitment premium of £3000 for external staff only.

This is a one off payment with half paid on appointment and half paid after the completion of a satisfactory probation period (6 months).

The premium is taxable.


Please note that should you leave employment, or choose to move to an alternative post within the Trust that does not attract this recruitment premium, you will be required to reimburse all or some it, as follows: 100% of the value of the premium in the first 12 months; 50% of the value of the premium in the period 12 months to 2 years following appointment.
