This Top 50 national law firm that is recognised for the work they do are currently looking to recruit a Costs Negotiator for their Sheffield office.

The Costs team provides a service to their fee earners who deal with the recovery of Costs in practiceareas, their primary focus is dealing with the preparation of bills of costs, negotiation, and advocacy within the detailed assessment of costs proceedings.

The Role:

This is an excellent exciting opportunity to join one of the biggest costs teams nationally that are continuing to grow role.

You'd be involved in negotiating settlements from start to finish which would involve:

Negotiating on provisional assesments
Liaising with clients
Review and considering offers
Reviewing Points of Dispute
Performing full risk assesmments on bills of costs
Attendence at detailed assessment assisting counsel

The ideal applicant will ideally have one year experience working either in-house or for an external supplier and you will have experience in:

Costs negotiations
Knowledge of the costs procedure
Previous litigation experience

Salary & Benefits:
