Staff365 are recruiting for a Skilled CNC Operator on a permanent basis for our new Engineering client located in Sheffield.

Salary:
£14.47 phr + Overtime available

Hours of work: 07:30 - 16:00 Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 14:30 Friday

25 days Holiday + BH

Our client have over 100 years' experience in the manufacture and development of a wide range of Quality Tools and Accessories, for use in the Mining, Quarrying, Rock Drilling, Civil Engineering and Construction Industries worldwide.

Responsibilities:

Setting and operating lathes and machining centres with predominantly Fanuc controls, to produce components to required standard.

Have input towards continuous improvement, process and tooling

Keeping work area clean and tidy

Using overhead crane/slings

Experience required

Have knowledge of and respect for all Health & Safety considerations

Ability to edit existing programmes

To be able to work unsupervised

Capable of producing a high standard of work

Have conscientious and proactive attitude

Be able to work overtime
