Introduction to the role:


This is an exciting opportunity to be a key team member in the Finance Systems Team, overseeing the financial accounting and integrated systems under management and guidance of the Finance Systems Team Leader and Manager.

This is a 12 month contract.


The role is regulated in accordance with SRA Outcome Focused regulation and other legislation that may be in force from time to time.


Introduction to the team:


The Finance Systems team is a friendly team that are responsible for various aspects of various systems including but not limited to; security, configurations, user management, system reconciliations, integrations, testing and user support.


The work is diverse and interesting - no two days are alike, and you will have the opportunity to get involved with the wider IT department, Finance Division, as well as other areas of the Firm.


Systems that the Finance System Team are responsible for:

  • Aderant Expert (PMS)
  • Chrome River Expenses
  • Intapp Time
  • Intapp Open and Intake
  • CopiTrak
  • Sharedo

Key responsibilities:


  • Financial Systems Maintenance & Monitoring
  • Supporting Business users
  • Promoting Best Practices

What we are looking for

Essential:


  • Finance / Legal Cashier experience.
  • Good team player, with the ability to manage time, and priorities efficiently.
  • Work to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Good / advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Flexibility in approach and a willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn efficiently the principles of accounting policies, regulations, and procedures.

Desirable:


  • Knowledge of the operational factors which exist in a large law firm.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills including ability to communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Experience working with Aderant Expert systems.
  • The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with staff and suppliers.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
