We are currently working with a LA on an Interim contract for a Home choice and Reviews Officer to start ASAP.

The role is an Interim contract that is due to run for 12 weeks.


Job Purpose:
To investigate cases and carry out reviews of decisions requested by applicants in accordance with the Council's Allocation Scheme. Consider if applicants have a housing need by assessing applicant's Medical, Hardship or Welfare needs.

Investigating cases and responding to applicants requests for reviews of decisions in accordance with the Council's Allocation Scheme for example:

  • Eligibility for allocation of accommodation.
  • Housing need and local connection.
  • Bedroom Allocation.
  • Independent medical assessments.
  • Band placements.
- neligibility for an offer of accommodation.

  • Suitability and refusals of accommodationAccess to personal information.
