Due to growth and expansion Caledonian Logistics are looking for Forklift Operators to join our team.

About us


We are fast-paced, supportive, professional, and our goal is to provide a friendly and prompt service to our customers within the pallet network.


This is a hybrid role which also includes delivering and collecting in a 3.5T van during peak periods of the day.


Successful applicant will also be willing to commute/relocate to Oldmeldrum Depot when required, further details will be provided during Interview stage.

  • Friday 10am till 7:30pm

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a counterbalance FLT operator
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Experience in a fast paced environment
  • Valid certification to operate forklifts within the last 2 years
  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Load outgoing vehicles reading from printed manifest
  • Carry out daily forklift preuse inspections to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
  • Clean driving License
  • Manual Handling
  • Make multidrop deliveries using designated vehicle within time windows.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform pretrip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Carry out proof of delivery procedure on electronic device.
  • Report vehicle defects, loading/delivery issues, RTA's to transport office.
  • Communicate face to face with public and commercial customers.
  • Keep track of delivery schedules.
45 hours per week.


Pay:
£28,080.00 per year
