Location:
Hybrid, mix of home working, SET Head Office (at Kidsgrove Secondary School) with travel to schools on a weekly basis


We have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Manager to joins our Regional People Team at Shaw Education Trust's working across a cluster of academies within the Midlands, East Midlands and North West.


Reporting into the Head of HR you will be working closely with our academies, to provide advise and guidance on a broad range of employee topics, Including case management of complex ER issues, supporting the Head of HR with Employments Tribunals or ACAS conciliation processes, change management projects and to develop and coach our Leaders in academies who can support ER cases at investigations, disciplinary and appeal stages.

We are looking for a highly organised and structured individual with effective complex management skill.

You will have experience of HR, ideally specifically within an Employee Relations role in a unionised environment and ahve extensive knowledge of UK employment legislation.

You'll also be flexible to the changing requirements of the organisation and provide a challenging approach where required. Familiarity with educational issues would naturally be useful, but your interpersonal, conflict resolution and influencing skills will be of far more important

Salary:
SET Grade 9 SCP 3- SCP 39, £36,649 - £40,221
