My client on the outskirts of Sheffield are looking for experienced CNC Machinists.

The Role

These will include 6 Axis Milling, EDM, FHD, CMM & Laser/plasma cutting machines.

As a CNC machine operator of exotic metals, you will set-up, operate, and maintain machinery to manufacture gas turbine components.

You will also assist other CNC operators with any of their daily duties including area housekeeping & Autonomous maintenance work.

You will be responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Main process
Load, run and operate CNC machines such as 6 Axis milling, CNC Milling, laser, EDM, FHD, CMM,, Grinding, and supporting processes
Operation of multiaxis CNC machine tools to produce various types of Aerospace components.
Other processes within the cell
You are required to work to Standard Operations Procedures (SOP's) and follow a set standard work routine to achieve the required output.
Use the correct tools and equipment for the operation or work, including relevant safety equipment and protective clothing provided.
Assume responsibility for prescribed TPM to ensure ongoing equipment performance. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
3 shifts once trained. 17% shift allowance (for 3 shifts) on top of basic salary
Over time paid at time and a halfBenefits:We offer 185 hours holidays per annum with an option to buy/sell up to 37 hours.
