Description
We are looking to recruit HGV 1 Drivers for trunk contract agency work for our client in the Chelmsford Area starting this weekend 11:30 AM -18:30 starts

Offering on-going work on various shifts for trunk and collection and delivery drivers on a Saturday and Sunday.


Trunking for a Major Parcel network company trunking or collection and delivery to one of 3 hubs in central England.

There is no manual work other than pulling curtains.

The vacancy is available for an immediate start.


following Rates are available for:
-
Saturday
HGV 1 Linehaul Basic £23.85 per hour

Overtime on Saturdays after 8 hours £25.84ph per hour


Sunday
HGV 1 Line Haul flat rate £26.00

We are currently looking for professional drivers in the following depots:

  • Chelmsford, Ipswich,Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Barking and Dagenham

These are PAYE rates only (no ltd drivers)


Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm


Salary:
£23.70-£26.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
  • Weekends only

  • Have you had more than 3 months break from class 1 driving in the past 12 months
  • Do you have tacho infringement points

Experience:


  • Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers class 1: 1 year (preferred)
  • Double decker 5th wheel: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- clean tachograph infringements past two months (preferred)

  • Driver CPC and tachograph (required)
