Description

My client is an expanding precision manufacturer in Sheffield; with a strong focus on career development and progression from within.

With this is mind they are seeking a Graduate in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths for an entry level Planner positionwithin their Production team.

Responsibilities:

Support the production plan within the business
Exporting the plan into the MRP system and align dates within the MRP system, sales orders, purchase orders
Create reports from primary data within Orchestrate/Factory Master to aid KPI outputs
Support the MRP team with administration tasks
Data collection and providing support to all functions within the business
Creation of works orders and work to lists for parts traveling through workshop whilst adhering to accreditation standards
Changing manufacturing times and supplier lead times in routes from previous historical data to aid schedule adherence
Update delivery tracker to keep track of all parts within the business
Support with monthly WIP counts
You will be technically challenged; within a supportive environment, that looks to assist you to develop your skills and utilise them to the best of your ability
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
Proficient numerical skills
Ability to communicate across all levels within their organisation and with external suppliers
