Security Controller
We have an exceptional opportunity for a talented and qualified manager to assume responsibility for overseeing all aspects of security operations within our Government Solutions section of our organization.
We need a leader, a collaborator and an analyst who is up to date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices.
You will join a dynamic, self-motivated and exceptionally busy team who manage multiple government contracts and work hard to maintain our FSC status.
Some of your Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce Security policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement incident response plans
- Provide security awareness training to employees, contractors, and visitors
- Conduct regular security audits
- Investigate security incidents
- Manage Defence contract obligations including at bid stage
- Travel to other locations within the UK and overseas to ensure compliance with contractual Security requirements
- Liaise with clients and Government organisations as required
What We Need
You will have demonstrable experience in security management, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role. We need to see knowledge of FSC requirements, IPSA and IT.
You will have the ability to assess security risks, analyse incidents, and make informed decisions based on available information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate security policies, procedures, and incidents to employees and stakeholders.
You will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve security objectives.The ability to think critically and solve complex security-related issues is essential in this role.
Security Requirements
You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance.
Due to the nature of this project, only British nationals will be considered.
Location
KBR offices in Leatherhead, Surrey (at least 3 days per week). Working from home the remainder of the week.
Occasional travel within the UK and overseas will be required.
