This role will sit part of the Whey Shift Operations Team manufacturing, packing and dispatching demineralised whey powder to ensure the product is manufactured in accordance with the manufacturing plan and D90 manufacturing specification that is issued by the Whey and GOS Operations Manager.

Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off, rotating days & nights, 7-7.


Salary:
£27,723.93 per annum + site bonus scheme.

You will make contributions that matter by...

  • Supporting the delivery of the production plan and manufacturing product in accordance with the relevant specifications and procedures.
  • Implementing the production plan and monitor compliance against the plan, taking the appropriate corrective action where necessary (eg liaise with engineering, escalate).
  • Monitoring compliance to GMP/H&S standards, SOPs and procedures.
  • Completing all required paperwork to the agreed standard consistently and accurately.
  • Participating in Plant DMS processes.
  • Ensuring the required samples are taken for the testing by the technical department.
You are best suited for the role if you have...

  • A good technical understanding of some of the whey processes or an ability to learn the technical aspects of whey processes where knowledge is lacking.
  • Demonstrable understanding and willingness to comply with all food safety standards, GMP and Health and Safety consistent with working in a world class food manufacturing environment.
