Job summary:

The Office of Manpower Economics (OME) is an independent body providing the secretariat for the eight public sector Pay Review Bodies, which make recommendations on pay for 2.5 million workers, with a pay bill of £100 billion.

Each Pay Review Body is an NDPB and its Chairs and Members hold senior, non-Executive type roles.

OME is part of Competition, Markets and Regulatory Reform Group in the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and our work on public sector pay contributes to supporting an efficient and flexible UK labour market.

OME is currently based in Windsor House, 50 Victoria Street, SW1H 0TL. We are a small, friendly and collegiate body with a shared pride the quality of our work.

Everyone has full access to DBT training and development opportunities and we are fully committed to playing our part in building an inclusive DBT environment.
