DegreeSix is a specialist recruitment agency, we are looking for experienced employees to work alongside Children with Challenging Behaviours, Emotional Behavioural Issues and Learning Disabilities (Aged 6-16) in several of the top Residential Services in Northamptonshire


Many of the homes we assist require staff to be interactive and bring new ideas to the home in order to support and encourage service users to live their life to the full.

You will be working alongside established and friendly teams ensuring a smooth running of the service.

We require staff who have experience with challenging behaviours, learning disabilities, mental health and emotional behavioural needs. You will be working on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis with the residents supporting with day-to-day activities.


We can provide you with a variety of shift patterns including but not limited to; long days, early, late and mid shifts.


The role includes:


  • Organising and accompanying those supported on social or educational activities and appointments
  • Building relationships with service users, staff and family members
  • Recording the activity & reporting key aspects of their care
  • Promoting independence and developing their life skills
  • Helping them to develop interests and hobbies and flourish in doing what they enjoy

It would be great, but not essential, if you could tick the following boxes:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

What you need:


  • 3 months UK base social care experience
  • The right to work within the UK
