Our client based in Bedfordshire are recruiting for their brand new site due to officially open in the new year and are seeking a Warehouse Co-ordinator to join their fantastic team.
Directed by the Team Manager, perform tasks associated to the operational and compliance requirements of the department whilst ensuring a safe working environment.
- Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties consisting of data input and report generation using a variation of there IT systems
- Undertake all operational tasks within the relevant department
- Assist with the collation of information and data to be used in team briefings and displayed on noticeboards
- Manage the effective storage of all records in both physical and electronic format to ensure all documents can be efficiently located and are held in line with data retention regulations
- When required communicate effectively with all individuals within the depot and external departments, including Customers, Contractors and Suppliers
- Perform regular reviews and checks on all operational areas such as good in delivery, defect checks, credits and other required departmental checks as directed
- Perform all associated Health and Safety checks, implement daily actions and support with audit preparations
- Assist the management team by performing regular reviews of individual's operational behaviours through POPs, MHE, racking inspections and Driving observations both on and off the road
- Pass outputs of reviews to management for them to include in onetoone coaching conversations
- Assist in the recruitment and induction processes, maintaining high levels of training to ensure all new team members are competent and confident in carrying out their duties in accordance with company standards and legal frameworks and this continues throughout employment
- Assist in investigations and formal hearings by taking accurate notes in Management meetings and employee meetings, ensuring the contents of these meetings remain confidential
- Assisting Warehouse Operatives to ensure all relevant activities and paperwork in their roles are completed accurately

- Ability to assist in identifying and recommending where improvements can be made to the department manager
