Description
UniCarriers have an exciting opportunity for anIT Service Desk Operator to join our team based in Thame, Oxfordshire. This full time, permanent position will provide first line support to staff with all IT-related queries.
You will be working8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday with the option of working from home 2 days a week if desired.
UniCarriers is a brand of Mitsubishi Logisnext, the world's fourth-largest industrial truck manufacturer, supplying a complete range of electric, gas and diesel operated forklift trucks to our customers.
Responsibilities
As our
IT Service Desk Operator, you will focus on providing top class customer service.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Obtain all key information relating to the request to enable effective investigation; ensuring this is accurately logged into the ticketing system
- Resolving support requests where possible as first line support.
- Liaising with other members of the Service desk and escalating to 2nd line support to resolve requests.
- Monitor, respond, assign & escalate requests based on complexity, urgency and impact, in accordance with agreed SLA's.
Skills and Experience
In order to be consider for the position of
IT Service Desk Operator you must have a
minimum of 18 months experience in an IT helpdesk or service desk environment.
- Experience of providing high quality 1st line support in an enterprise environment
- Experience of working with and providing support for Microsoft Windows 10, O365, AD account management
- A working knowledge of enterprise level networks IP, subnets, DNS, DHCP to a level to enable effect client troubleshooting
Desirable
- Office 365/Azure experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience of SaaS in an enterprise environment
- Experience of working in a virtual service desk environment, multisite, multi country
- ITIL foundation or equivalent
- Knowledge of iOS, Android mobiles
