We seek a Skilled Machine operator to be trained to set and operate Press Brake machinery.

The role would suit someone who has had previous experience in an engineering environment setting up CNC, Laser, presses or similar automated to produce precision parts.

Own transport is essential

The role:

Setting and operation of Press Brake
Working on one offs, small and large batch
Reading and working to drawings
Calculating of materials and bend tolerances
Setting up tooling and materials
Selection of programs, making small programming changes and full programming for one offs
Quality checking of produced parts
Working to production deadlines

The person:

Experienced skilled machine operator
Have experience of undertaking small program amendments and changes
Have the ability to read and interpret drawings
Be familiar with different materials and have worked to precision tolerances
Have a keen eye for details
Be able to work in a targeted production environment

Benefits:

Salary range from £11ph to £15ph DOE
